WHILE WE STAY MASKED by Vyoma Nupur
WHILE WE STAY MASKED, IS LIFE UNMASKING ITSELF IN A NEW WAY?
As we put on tangible masks, our intangible “social masks of conformity” have slipped. Fiercely expressing our sentiments and simply caring more is now our collective direction.
The world of work is also redefining itself as employers are thinking outside the box, clearing the way for a predominantly virtual workforce and rapidly streamlining processes to succeed in a post CoVID world. The new definition of success is “stay safe, stay home, stay healthy.” Instead of Road Warriors we are now Home Warriors.
We are more in sync with nature, feeling the dance of the seasons harmoniously pulsating. The skies spread like a pristine canvas of colors , the air is fragrant, and if you pay close attention you can hear the winds of change carrying the soft sighs of the trees- “ You are the voices of 2020 , for the sake of those who shall come after you – learn, adapt and grow to become wiser, stronger and more courageous, so that Earth may forget your violent history and bestow upon future generations, their rightful heritage, of a DNA encoded with abundance, happiness and a rising consciousness. Learn to carry the flame of love and unity today so that your children may carry the flame of peace and longevity tomorrow“.
While we stay masked – Life is unmasking a whole new dimension of living and working. Nature is unmasking it’s true beauty and glory.
And – of course, with masks being our new normal, lip makeup just lost all meaning.
