LET’S CLARIFY THE BOOK OF JAMES: THE IMPORTANCE OF FAITH WITHOUT WORKS written by Ayala Nunez

In many portions of the Bible, the WORD OF GOD teaches consistently throughout its text that Salvation is derived from our authentic and sincere faith in GOD ALMIGHTY through the Blood of Christ. Some of the following pertinent Scripture exemplifies this point:

“He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit” ~Titus 3:5

“To the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.” ~Romans 4:5

“This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe” ~Romans 3:22

“For, it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.  For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” ~Ephesians 2:8-9

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” ~Galatians 5:22-26

“No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” ~Luke 6:43-45

In taking this into consideration, when THE WORD OF GOD states this prolifically with such high regard throughout Holy written text, doesn’t this Mission Statement clearly dictate what the true message is, with flying colors? But yet, when naysayers come across one Scripture (James 2:18-26) which truly tests our faith, how fair is it to say that we, as human beings, then become so easily deceived and misled to give up on THE TRUE WORD OF GOD. And when people do so, they flamboyantly raise and wave their “Flags of Hypocrisy” just to merely say, “You see! Here you are! Proof that your Biblecontradicts itself! Now, how can you bear any more faith, in your GOD ALMIGHTY? Your Jesus is a Hypocrite!”

OF COURSE – THIS IS SO MUCH FURTHER FAR FROM TRUTH!!!

One would think that such an allegation would be a crippling blow to the Christian faith, per say. But, in actuality, this attack only strengthens and solidifies the power of Holy Scripture, as far as from what I will explain to you, in detail, within this article.

In a nutshell, James 2:18-26 simply means this: “When life comes at us and we struggle to give it to God and to let it go, it is because our fear is big and our faith is small. This is exactly when we are to truly know that it is time to dig deeper into the inner workings of the Bible, and to allow GOD to increase our faith, without the need to humanly prove on our own, our own worth to GOD, through mere works.”

THIS IS THE REASON FOR CHRIST – IT IS ALREADY DONE!!! THE PRICE OF YAHUSHUA’S SACRIFICE HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID!!!

As we read the Scriptures, the Holy Spirit teaches us about Jesus. The more we know Him, the more we trust Him. And as our faith in Him grows, our fears diminish: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” ~Matthew 6:33

“If we believe that James 2:26 promotes works-based salvation, this passage would inherently contradict the writings of Paul and teachings of Jesus, which, thankfully, it does not. We are saved, not by works or deeds, but by the grace of God, redeemed by His work on the Cross.” ~Joel Ryan, Christianity.com

Ten or more years ago, I left the Christian faith and delved into other spiritualities. In that time period, I became a yogi and jumped into Kundalini Yoga, mysticism, Quantum Mechanics, Alchemy, Sacred Geometry, Sacred sites, performed ritual. Plus, in 2009 was when I became a Rosicrucian.

I was so enthralled into this world of the esoteric and thought within similar fashion, as most New Agers do: WHY CHRISTIANITY, when there are so many other Truths? I devoted my life towards mysticism. From this, I started writing, then I wrote my own book, derived from the deceptive influences of this esoteric world. And that was exactly when I started podcasting. Then, I started producing other people’s shows where I, as a newly established producer, became so good at it, that I created a whole entire New Age platform/network and called it REAL REVOLUTION RADIO X.O – This entire network was all about Shamanism, Tarot, the Mystery Schools, Secret Societies, Ancient Sumeria and the Anunnaki, Sacred Geometry, Ancient Archeology, Sacred Sites Pilgrimages, Channeling, Past Life Regression, Meditation, Integrative Medicine, Q-Anon, Remote Viewing, Karbala and tirelessly this list just goes on-and-on-and-on.

IT WAS NEVER-ENDING!!!

But, where does it all stop? Where do we find rest, from out of all this? But at the same time, why ask this question, anyway? We are making so much money – Let’s keep this show rolling. By January 2021, I was making a pretty good penny producing all these New Age shows, producing commercials, intros and in creating connections with great New Age marketing firms, then boom!!! – I was making enough money to finally say (hey) I can retire from nursing. And I can start producing these New Age shows FULL-TIME!!!

But then, at the same time, I just didn’t feel right about doing any of this. Prior to this sudden feeling, no one could’ve told me that what I was doing was wrong – NO ONE!!! Not my parents, best friends, co-workers at the hospitals, Doctors, nor Nurses could ever tell me nor convince me that I was within the wrong – NO ONE!!!

From all this time, in those 11-12 years as a New Ager, I was receiving my answers from outside sources through New Age practices, outside from merely asking GOD HIMSELF. So, on Passover 2021 was when I asked GOD THE MOST HIGH, “Lord, I am about to leave the nursing profession. And I am about to start producing these shows Full-Time. Am I doing the right thing?” And immediately within not even a second, the answer was a definite and resounding, “NO!” It wasn’t a voice, a sign, nor someone telling me that this was so. IT WAS A SLAMMING AND LIFE-CHANGING NO!

And the only way that I can describe it, is that this “NO” was a “KNOWING”. IT WAS A TRUTH! This Revelation came to me on a Wednesday, then this same TRUTH came back to revisit me (in KNOWING) on that same week, that following Friday (and it was in the form of a question) and it was this, “WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS TRUTH?”

And immediately from within my soul, I answered, “I have to shut it down – this podcast radio Network. I have to shut it down, LORD. Please show me the way.”

From this point, I told my podcasters that I couldn’t produce their shows anymore. Half kinda’ understood. Only a few could really understand, then a larger majority were offended that I would just leave them like that.

As I continued to stop within that very moment to proceed with this process of shutting it all down, I also was guided to REBRAND my show and the whole entire network to a new platform which focuses now on real investigative journalism, mental health, and true Christian broadcasting. And this is when I changed everything to R3TV (THE NEW CHRISTIAN REBRAND). This is also when I started reading THE BIBLE. And the more that I read THE BIBLE, the more that I started to realize that this BOOK IS ALIVE! It parallels my life to the “T” in Testimony.

In no way does James argue that works are the key to our salvation or in providing access to God’s Grace. It is by God’s grace, a grace we do not deserve, and God’s work that we are saved, not our own. By faith, we accept the power of salvation and forgiveness offered for sins, and in doing so, we learn to submit to the lordship and authority of Jesus Christ. We are transformed and “born again” in the process ~John 3:3

• “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here” ~2 Corinthians 5:17
  
• “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh” ~Ezekiel 36:26

From this, I started to realize that when we read a book about someone in particular (hypothetically speaking), this in essence reveals a certain degree and perspective about that person. But we also must take into consideration, our own personal relationship and understanding of that person. And that (from within itself) is another dimensional perspective of our experience knowing that person. But, in all honestly, both are required to truly KNOW that person, not only of your own personal understanding and experience with that person, but all the other views of this person, as described within that book, about that very person you have a personal relationship with. This is the same ideal when we parallel such an allegory with GOD THE MOST HIGH. Not only must we praise the relationship we hold with GOD, but we must also read HIS WORD, through the Testimony of others whom have also experienced GOD IN THE SAME RIGHT.

Just this past weekend (2/05/22-2/06/22), I started reading THE BOOK OF JAMES, and it was only then when I started to remember when and how I sacrificed my own podcasting radio Network (a year ago), in literally the same fashion as from what Abraham did (The Binding of Isaac: Genesis 22) to offer his only son (Isaac) in sacrifice to the altar.

“The Binding of Isaac is a story from the Hebrew Bible in Genesis 22. In the biblical narrative, GOD tells Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Moriah. Abraham begins to comply, when a messenger from God interrupts him. Abraham then sees a ram and sacrifices it instead.” ~Wikipedia

So, yes, this Testimony within “The Binding of Isaac” is literally a parallel in experience for which I encountered over Passover 2021, when Revelation was blessed onto me by THE HOLY SPIRIT to shut down my New Age podcast radio network. You see, I birthed REAL REVOLUTION RADIO X.O from scratch, back in 2015. It was essentially “My Baby”, so to speak. Many hundreds of thousands of man-hours were spent in order to launch this platform. Then, when GOD revealed to me that all of this New Age content was FALSE, I knew exactly what I had to do to praise GOD IN ALL OF HIS GLORY – I had to similarly place “My Baby” at the altar, in sacrifice! I truly did not understand why, but all I knew was that GOD said that this was dearly so. I didn’t know how all of this was going to play out, but (guess what) I trusted GOD enough to just give myself, my life and my situation in HIS HANDS – THAT’S IT!

And this is what I learned (this past weekend) from James 2:18-26. Our Faith in GOD ALMIGHTY is all we need. There is no need to prove ourselves through what we can or have to “DO”. Through our belief within CHRIST (himself) is all that we really need to SALVATION, without the requirement to prove our faith through what we think we have to or should do, through any specific type of human work.

LISTEN – IT IS ALREADY DONE THROUGH CHRIST! THE PERFECT WAY TO GOD IN SALVATION IS THROUGH JESUS CHRIST – ALONE!

James 2:18-26 states the following, “(18) But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works. (19) You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder. (20) But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless? (21) Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? (22) You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected; (23) And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ‘AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS,’ and he was called the friend of God. (24) You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. (25) In the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way? (26) For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.”

James 2:20 is the kicker which literally puts James 2:26 on front street and under the spotlight, as it questions the main point of focus within this article, “But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?”

And then you have Verses 21-24, which starts off with, “Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?”

This beginning verse truly parallels, once more, my own experiences in Testimony, when I started to remember when and how I sacrificed my own podcasting radio Network (my baby so to speak from which I had created from scratch). This was literally done in the same fashion as from what Abraham did, within THE BIBLE (Genesis 22), to offer his son Isaac to the altar, without any understanding nor reasoning as to why Abraham had to do so. Abraham knew that he had to place this sacrifice, without question, because he trusted GOD so much! And he placed this trust with such an ultimate level of Genuinity within his faith to GOD, that this act (within itself) cannot be ridiculed nor rivaled to be anything less, in comparison!

LOOK – ABRAHAM WAS WILLING TO SACRIFICE HIS ONLY SON TO THE ALTAR!!!

This is what we can refer to as “Genuine Faith”, for which James 2:18-26 is creatively attempting to explain, without the need for works to solidify Salvation. You see, Verse 26 is there, perfectly placed in context (indeed) to CHALLENGE our faith! – Talk about perfectly placed Scripture!!!

So, with all of this said, is “James 2:26” a contradiction? NO, not at all, especially when you take-in together the other powerful portions of those specific verses between James 2:18 and James 2:26. Additionally, James 2:26 is there at the end of this Scripture, in question, perfectly placed to challenge you, of your own faith…

“Lord, I give it all to you. I trust you, though I may not know where things will lead to. I know and understand through my faith within you, that you will see me through with what is best… for you know exactly who I AM… and you know perfectly what is right for me.”

James 2:18-26 is similar to a seemingly complex puzzle (although simple) which requires to be decoded. Essentially, it is the “Gatekeeper” to something very special in Revelation. But when you discover that this somewhat complex lock… is truly very simple to open: THE REVELATION OPENS RATHER EASILY TO YOU AS THE ANSWER!!! – THE REVELATION TO AN ULTIMATE TRUTH!!!

Genuine Faithfulness is the root, from which all the fruits of “works” is essentially derived from – that very ROOT in GENUINE FAITH. In other words, all the things that I had to do to perform in ritual as a New Ager was never good enough. The works that I had to do (with what I had found was little in faith) was what I had to consistently “DO” in order to feel just a little bit worthy for my path as a so-called New Ager, but it just wasn’t good enough.

The “RELENTLESS DOING” was what kept me in bondage! But when I returned back to CHRIST (Passover 2021), was when I finally discovered that it has already been “DONE” through the sacrifice for which Jesus (Yahushua) performed on the Cross. This is the reason for Jesus, dying on that Cross. This is the reason for his Resurrection. When we seek the Face of Christ, we are newly resurrected as well – MADE ANEW! And I never really understood this before.

LISTEN (ONCE MORE) – IT IS ALREADY DONE!!!

At the end of the day, there are only two religions (if you desire to call it that), within this elusive world today, the “DO” and the “DONE”. There are so many spiritualities comprised under the umbrella of “DO”, like Mormonism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Hinduism, Yoga, Buddhism, Catholicism, Islam, and the many innumerable facets of the New Age Movement, but the only one which is comprised of “ALREADY DONE” IS “TRUTH” THROUGH THE BLOOD OF CHRIST!

If you take that single verse alone, James 2:26, superficially and literally separate from the other supporting verses within that Scripture, well, you will also miss the whole entire message, altogether and entirely! From this, you most certainly would have to admit that James 2:26 is only James 2:26. There are also the other portions of James (Chapter 2) that you have to take into consideration (Verses 1-26) in order to fully understand James 2. Otherwise, the unversed will ignorantly take Scripture severely out of context, just to fit their narrative and their propaganda against Christ in Jesus. James (Chapter 2) is really a rhetorical question, in actuality, where the subject of main focus is a comparison based upon False Faith from mere Self-Works or Genuine Faith from where Works are derived from our true obedience to GOD THE MOST HIGH (GENUINE FAITH)… where we can just let it all go… stand still… and to merely and simply leave it all to GOD.

Genuine Faith (through GOD THE MOST HIGH) is the Root, Genuine Works is the Fruit that grows from that root, of such Genuine Faith. But sometimes, our works aren’t good enough. Sometimes, we merely just have to give it ALL TO GOD ALMIGHTY!!! In other words, Genuine Faith is not rooted merely from works alone, derived from “Self”, which is the The New Age propaganda for the promotion of “The Higher Self”, without GOD THE MOST HIGH!

This Scripture (James 2:18-26) places special emphasis on Praising God Almighty alone (as the main audience) by giving the situation to GOD. And by giving the situation to GOD, through blind faith, we can legitimately trust in the LORD to see us through with no need to show others (like people) to prove to the world that we do indeed possess such genuine faith. There is no need to show the world that we possess this genuine faith. All we need to do, is prove to GOD that we believe in HIM and to look for Salvation (alone) from HIM. This proof cannot be seen, for this proof is only known and purely understood from the unseen, our unadulterated faith alone, in CHRIST. It is not works which shows that we indeed have faith, but within the fact that faith rediscovered from our dear Lord comes first, from which (instead) great works is birthed from our own faith in GOD THE MOST HIGH. It is not the other way around. In parallel, Genuine Faith is the root, for which the fruits of one’s Genuine Works can only be derived and birthed from the roots of that Genuine Faith. If Works is needed to complement great faith, then it is not Almighty God that we yearn for, in genuine faith. Rather, it is humanity that we place salvation to, more than GOD THE MOST HIGH.

And the only way that people (humanity) is able to see if we have genuine faith is by works. So, with that said, who are we trying to satisfy? God or people? If it is God, then we do not require works to show genuine faithfulness. All we need is to be faithful to the blood of Christ. And that is the main reason why Christ died on the cross. Prior to reading this Scripture, I never truly knew nor understood why Jesus died on the Cross.

When we rely upon focusing upon genuine faith with the happy meal combo of works, or good deeds required to prove our so-called greatened faith, what is the audience for whom we are attempting to see gratification? Is it God Almighty or is it people? Is it God Almighty or is it the world?

Will the will of man or woman alone help a homeless person but works alone to provide a solution for that homeless person to seek shelter permanently, or will our blind faith in God Almighty through prayer provide the ultimate resolution for that man’s homelessness?

This is another example in how when we give ourselves… our problems… and/or our situational crisis to the Lord… how our our own faith becomes all the more genuine, strong, and authentic when we allow the Lord to provide the answer to the solution (at the greatest outcome) more than we can ever imagine if we were to perform that good day and/or the good works for ourselves, to prove to this dragon’s world that we truly possess genuine faith.

Do you now understand this scripture in better terms, in comparison to how many different churches, pastors, charismatics and in how lukewarm Christians attempt to frustratingly explain this scripture. All day, they will Babel and Babel, whilst taking you circling around in a loop, attempting to prove a simple point to you. But still there is no understanding, nor comprehension of logic.

I came across the simple explanation when I merely just took a nap and prayed to GOD for an answer. Then boom, I woke-up rejuvenated, not only blessed with an energy filled with the Holy Spirit, but I was also provided with a legitimate answer for my prayers. And this answer, blessed upon to me, provided a real and legitimate interpretation for this Scripture, for which many people have historically abused, whilst screaming out, “Contradiction! All day!!! Out loud – You see, I have debunked your Word of God!”

Often at times, as humans, we try to put the situation or crisis within our own hands (to control the situation) while at the same time thinking we truly have faith in God. But in actuality, we don’t when we focus upon our own worries to act upon the situation, coming from a place of fear and anxiety, that God will not pull through and see us through. Let me ask you, is that true Faith?

THIS IS NOT GENUINE FAITH – THIS IS FALSE FAITH

“Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.” ~1 Peter 5:7

We want to let go and let God handle it, but nothing about that feels natural. To be honest, giving our lives to God isn’t natural. That’s why it takes supernatural faith.

ONCE MORE – THIS IS CALLED GENUINE FAITH!!!

Supernatural faith is not reserved for the saints in the Bible. It is available to every single child of God!

“So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the message about Christ.” ~Romans 10:17

When life comes at us and we struggle to give it to God and let it go, it’s because our fear is big and our faith is small. That’s when we know it’s time to dig deeper into the Bible and allow God to increase our faith, without the need to humanly prove on our own, our own worth through works.

THIS IS WHERE WE FIND THE GLORY AND GRACE FROM JAMES 2:18-26

As we read the scriptures, the Holy Spirit teaches us about Jesus. The more we know Him, the more we trust Him. And as our faith in Him grows, our fears diminish: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.” ~Matthew 6:33

THIS IS GENUINELY BLIND FAITH: “We do not know what to do, but we look to You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

The world calls us to flex our muscles and be strong. But God says if you want to be powerful, first admit you’re weak. We can spend a lot of effort praying an eloquent prayer, but I believe the words God finds most beautiful are simply these:  “Help me, God.” Sadly, those words are missing from many of our prayers.

“Each time he said, ‘No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.’” ~2 Corinthians 12:9

That’s where a lot of us fail. When we face uncertainty or hardship, we don’t want to give it to God and let it go. Because in all honesty, even if we’re okay with letting God have our problem, we want to have a say in the solution.

“The battle is not yours, but God’s.” ~2 Chronicles 20:15

“You do not have to fight this battle. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD. He is with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Tomorrow, go out to face them, for the LORD is with you.’” ~2 Chronicles 20:17

No matter what kind of life issue you’re facing today, you can give it to God and let it go. He is a good God, and our lives are secure in His hands. Nothing is an obstacle to God. He will fulfill His purpose and have His way no matter how large the problem or how enormous the obstacle.
