GET RID OF YOUR CRYSTALS: FREEING YOURSELF FROM NEW AGE CLUTTER written by Ayala Nunez

As once a New Ager myself, I possessed a decent sized collection of crystals and rocks that I collected from so-called sacred places, like Saqsayhuaman, Machu Picchu, the Great Serpent Mound, Chichen Itza, and many many others. It was most certainly a thing to do, as once a New Age practitioner of things. We often utilized such materials in order to enhance a spell, an intention, or to even open gateways or portals to the other realms and/or dimensions.

But the one debate that seems to arise quite frequently, as of late, is a question which is brought up by many former New Agers whom desire to similarly walk away from the New Age Deception, and that question is this: CAN I STILL HOLD-ON TO THEM… my rocks, crystals and even to hold-on to some of my old New Age books? And the reason for this (of course) is that they understandably still hold value and a connection to them. To walk away from the New Age, let alone to walk away from near and dear possessions, is not an easy feat, for sure.

But, we must also be conscious and fully made aware of the very word that I used previously above within the past sentence, and that word is “possessions”. In many ways, the use of such a word is so very subtle. But again, that is how the serpent of all serpents operates. His strategy has never changed. There is nothing new under the sun. In continuing on, there is a logical and eye-opening reason why we call these materialistic goods… POSSESSIONS… for we can continue to potentially put ourselves at risk of demonic “possession”. When we continue to hold-on to them, even from just mere seemingly harmless sentimental value, we can put ourselves at risk of demonic possession. And as recently mentioned quite frequently from past articles, this demonic possession is parasitic in nature. Demonic success cannot be obtained without a host.

Regardless, God also created people, and some of them (although beautiful too as well) may happen to be murderers – correct? It is what it is – the world is filled with a combination of evil and righteous people. Not all things made by the hand of GOD are righteous, nor utilized righteously. Additionally, in order to bring light to the absurdities of what and how New Agers claim that “crystals are most certainly beautiful, a creation of God, and are resources derived from the Earth”, we must break it down simply within understandable terms. Similar to a bat made from the bark of a tree, the bat is also derived from the earth. But a bat, besides it’s main purpose to be used for entertainment and sport, can be used maliciously to strike someone upon one’s head, thus impacting them detrimentally with blunt force trauma.

Like I’ve previously mentioned before, it’s all about the specific use of any earthly material which makes it evil in purpose. The same holds true with crystals. Yes, it is of the earth and they are beautiful indeed, but it is not so much about the actual crystal itself (the rock), but it all lies within the particular use of such a crystal and in what cultural landscape it is utilized for, for their specific benefit. Sometimes, crystals are reshaped, sized and reconfigured into the form of an amulet, necklace or talisman. Regardless, no typical Disciple of Christ would utilize such devices. Such tools are not utilized within the culture of Discipleship.

But, to the contrary, people within the Pagan community would most certainly use such tools within their New Age “culture” for its very “use” specifically within ritual, necromancy and in sacrifice, practices of the occult, which are not good nor righteous by any means. And, we must not forgot alone that by merely adoring, thus idolizing such creations (crystals) for its beauty, is merely just that -IDOLATRY- at its utmost! And by making excuses to idolize the creation (crystals) as opposed to glorifying the CREATOR, OUR MOST HIGH GOD, should be ashamed of themselves! Glorifying the creation, as opposed to glorifying the Creator is one of the most celebrated theology and practice of the New Age community. As Ambassadors of the Most High God, we must not only know about Scripture, but we must also be well-versed with the passive aggressiveness of Satan’s devices

“The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk.” ~Revelation 9:20

“The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands.” ~Psalms 135:15-18

As for me, I had ridden myself of everything that was considered to be New Age material, A.K.A. Paganistic paraphernalia. Similarly, this included books, crystals, sacred rocks, jewelry, sculptures, different tarot card decks – YOU NAME IT!

I TRASHED THEM ALL!!!

At one point, I was torn from even doing so, and I thought the same, as most New Age transitioners do, in believing within our minds that it was still perfectly fine that we could still hold-on to such pagan tools of the New Age, not only because we spent a considerable amount of money on them, but also from the mere fact that we thought that it would be such a waste to dispose of them because of their beauty! But there was also an underlying reason: We were still connected to them!

AND WHY IS THIS THE CASE?

Well, that’s where we have to identify the underlying cause of the deception from the very first pace, not only the beauty and attractiveness of the New Age story, but because of its first and foremost creator – Satan, the dragon, himself.

BUT (YES) AT THE END OF THE DAY… what are we willing to sacrifice, in order to be true followers of GOD ALMIGHTY? What are we willing to give up in order to be one with THE HOLY SPIRIT? What are we willing to fast for in order to follow the TRUE PATH OF CHRIST?

For me, especially, it was the New Age podcast radio network that I had initially built from scratch, from the ground-up, back in 2015. This was what I had to sacrifice on Passover of 2021 when I returned back to Jesus Christ. And I knew from within my Mind and Soul that it was entirely wrong to continue to produce shows which supported the New Age Movement (ancient and olden pagan theosophy) when once Revelation was provided to me by the HOLY SPIRIT, concerning the falsity of such paganistic banter. For others, all they had to do was merely sacrifice their crystal collection. But to them, this was and could quite verily be a huge game-changing event, as is mostly the case when such a tremendous transition is made.

LOOK! WE MUST CHOOSE!!!

Once more, it’s either you’re in or you’re out. And you don’t have to question me, nor even ridicule me (per say), but rather read SCRIPTURE instead, and ask yourself what THE WORD OF GOD is asking from you. When people keep such possessions, you have to lay it down for what it really is…

THEY ARE ONLY MAKING EXCUSES!!!

Yes, it sounds (to me) that they are making a last ditch attempt just to merely say that they are making excuses for the crystal’s beauty, but sometimes the glitter and the glory of sparkle can only be obviously the diversion and the distraction from the ultimate TRUTH to why we do things in such a way when we choose the materialistic things of this world, over GOD! Is it the SPIRIT that we treasure the most, or is it the flesh. The crystal is merely materialistic in means within the desires of the flesh (a worldly thing), but the SPIRIT is what we are ultimately aiming for, in solitude.

If we are to make parallels, we must read Daniel 2:1-23 and Nebuchadnezzar’s dream

In Daniel 4, Nebuchadnezzar (the king) experienced a very disturbing dream. And it bothered him tremendously. So, the king asked Daniel to interpret his dream and Daniel provocatively tells him that the dream is all about him. The tree was actually Nebuchadnezzar, himself, and that he was to chop this tree down to a bare stump. Then, to be left out in the wilderness seven-fold to live among the animals and among the most bare of elements, within nature. After being exposed to the wilderness, naked and vulnerable but at the same time humbled, Nebuchadnezzar would then truly experience the heights of his prosperity as a newly founded king, stripped of all the worldly things which had (from all this time) decreased his value and worth as a prominent leader of his kingdom.

The Fourth Chapter of the Bible’s Book of Daniel (DANIEL 4), is presented in the form of a letter from king Nebuchadnezzar II in which he learns a lesson of God’s sovereignty, “who is able to bring low those who walk in pride”. Nebuchadnezzar dreams of a great tree that shelters the whole world, but an angelic “watcher” appears and decrees that the tree must be cut down and that for seven years he will have his human mind taken away and will eat grass like an ox. In a sense, there’s some manipulative undertones here, which can be observed quite blatantly, when people refuse to detach from such materialistic things. So (yes) the contents of this argument absolutely matters – very much so! And it must not be taken lightly. Look, when people enthusiastically state that they are leaving the New Age, we must always question the potential fact, that quite possibly it’s all just an act. It’s merely a stage show, for whatever means to justify their means to an end. When, in actuality, such people still continue to desire to abide by a deceptive mindset (The Mind Control) that was initially meant by Satan to manipulate the masses through such passive aggressive gestures.

The intent of this article is not to place a mere sense of judgement upon the table to focus upon, but to absolutely place “righteous judgement” within the mix – meaning do not be a hypocrite! If you say that you’re going to leave the New Age, then do it entirely! Don’t do it half-ass. Be sound in your judgement. Don’t say that you love GOD, but yet you still admire Satan. Be real! Be authentic. Be true to your master! You can only serve one. Otherwise, to double-dip between the two is merely waving the flag derived from the characteristics of a Lukewarm Christian.

So, don’t be offended when I say: ONE CANNOT BE LUKEWARM!

Listen, all of this matters! When you follow the New Age, there is no moral code. You defy “The Law”. But when you follow THE BIBLE, THE WORD OF GOD, then you are abiding by a legitimate and authentic Moral Code of Conduct.

Thus, Righteous Judgement comes into play. “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” ~John 7:24

Absolute nonjudgement is absolutely absurd and is the one supposed practice, or mantra so to speak, for which Satan and the New Age preaches, so very arrogantly. Now, if you spent a significant amount of money on your crystals that you once used for satanic and ritualistic ways, then one must entirely leave such devices alone. You have to understand the fact that such devices, although no longer used in such questionable ways, still carries the energy and soul of that potentially possessed demonic spirit. Even a trace amount of that soul energy could still be viable just enough to grow over time, for which could potentially superimpose itself in climax to ultimate demonic influence and/or demonic possession. As for me, I wouldn’t want to take the risk.

By continuing to adore such materialistic possessions over GOD and by holding-on to such things, as an excuse to keep it, just because of its glitter and shine, is simply (once more) hypocritical to say the very least. To be simple and clear, to admire such stones and crystals is mere IDOLATRY! Once more, be REAL! And don’t be lukewarm! One can be a minister for themselves… and for the representation of “Self” or “Self Realization”, which is what Satan blatantly markets to the world within the present modern day, or they can be ministers for the TRUE JESUS CHRIST, true Ambassadors for the MOST HIGH GOD!

“So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I spit you out of my mouth.” ~Revelation 3:16

To be exact and perfectly straight to the point… there’s a difference between “Gifts of Prophecy” (from what is described Biblically) in comparison to straight-out Necromancy, such as the study of the stars, horoscopes, the collections and works of crystals and gems, magic, the observation and manipulation of times. Seriously, there is a big difference! In making that comparison, discernment is most certainly key. And many former New Agers are walking away from such New Age Deception… because of that Discernment.

“When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, an observer of times, interprets omens, and engages in witchcraft.” ~Deuterotomy 18:9-10

From what is Biblically referenced is most certainly Biblical Truth. But to the contrary, from what is merely considered Worldly… is simply just that: Worldly – Manipulative Devices of the Beast! And the use of crystals and in how they are simultaneously utilized and adorned in combination with New Age ritual is what categorizes such paraphernalia as indeed to be… manipulative devices of that very beast!

As a former New Ager (myself), I know the New Age, like the back of my hand! I can smell it – I know it’s aroma! I know it’s language, its vernacular, and in how people carry themselves when they speak with such egotistical ideology or self-condoning philosophy. The mind of a New Ager is quite unique, and it is very succinct – absolutely mind-controlled! But now, as a Disciple of Christ (not necessarily from what can be referred to as a mere modern day newly-saved Christian), but I can truly say with utmost fervor and excitement that I understand, breathe and live Biblical Scripture. And when when one is able to be blessed to consciously do so, they must be made fully aware on whether another is considerably lukewarm, in characteristic. And most importantly, when we (as true Disciples) are to look at ourselves within the mirror, can we identify clearly (to the contrary) on whether we are indeed legitimate Ambassadors of the Most High God, or are we lukewarm “wannabe” Disciples of Christ?

IT’S SIMPLY A QUESTION OF AUTHENTICITY!

For those of you whom claim to be within the act of walking away from such New Age practices, one must also be very clear to do so completely and outright! One should be very careful and cautious to find favor in dibble-dabbling with information and knowledge which continuously deals with the Forbidden Sciences, such as the culture and within the popular practices of adorning amulets and/or talismans with the likes of gems and Crystals. Although, it is true that gems and crystals are found naturally upon the earth, we as Disciples must also be aware to the fact in “how” such sacred stones are utilized, especially so in Pagan New Age rituals.

But, in response to such conjecture, the Holy Bible never assigns any mystical properties to crystals. None of these superstitious beliefs about crystals come from the Bible. Although, they come from the Pagan community which also existed during those times. Again, just because wickedness existed at the same time as Jesus, does not mean that Jesus is wicked. Jesus came during a very dark time in human history, to shed Light (the Truth) upon a darkened world. The Bible clearly reports the evil and wickedness of this time. The culture of this time (during ancient times) was one in which such practices of utilizing rubies, sapphire and topaz were very popular. But again, because the Bible describes the practices of this time, does not mean that it supports such practices of this same exact period. It merely just means that Jesus co-existed during that same exact generation when wickedness, necromancy and witchcraft were very much so a big part of that existence, similar to how it is now today.

The average Disciple of Christ finds no need in such devices. But those who would find a use for them where crystals are adorned and used to decorate amulets, necklaces and/or talismans, would be those of the Pagan Babylonian community. Another New Age satanic device or instrument of such Forbidden Sciences, is the fascination with horoscopes and in divination, along with the study of the stars and the movement of times. Once more, such amulets and talismans are utilized in such practices of necromancy.

Listen, one cannot have one or the other. A person must choose. One cannot be lukewarm within their decision-making process to choose the MOST HIGH GOD, or the fallen one and his evil devices. In retrospect, the most utilized argument from amidst the New Age community is this: “The New Jerusalem was built with very specific crystals. The armor, the breastplate, of medieval soldiers was inlaid with black jasper to protect that part of the Armor of God. These soldiers fought for Christianity. Crystals are used throughout the Bible in a positive light.”

The Bible does not say that crystals are beneficial for attracting wealth, rekindling romance, or warding off evil spirits; neither does it say that crystals are needed to connect to God’s Spirit. To the contrary, the Bible warns strongly against engaging in anything related to superstition and the occult. God declares the practice of the occult detestable (Deuterotomy 18:10-12), and witchcraft is named (along with idolatry) as ungodly behavior (Galatians 5:19-21). The use of crystals, like your walking stick dressed with such crystals, are used as charms, amulets, or talismans, which is a type of occult practice, however benign as it may seem. Anything that seeks to manipulate the spirit world can be categorized as witchcraft. Once more, proponents of the New Age cannot take into consideration more focus upon one certain part of Scripture, but (at the same time) ignores other important facets of Biblical text in order to fulfill one’s needs, made one’s requirement from within the flesh.
