TAKING THE TIME TO REFLECT: A SOUL’S JOURNEY by Ayala Nunez

“MEMORIES HAVE BEEN OCCUPYING MY TIME… here as of late… as I walk my Bull Terrier (Louie) within the Downtown City Streets of Cleveland in the East Bank of the Flats – along the Old River Walk. And (yes) the wee hours of the night is usually the more appropriated times when I do indeed reflect upon the many chapters of my interesting life.

Sometimes, it all comes to me subconsciously when I do have these occasional life reviews of reflection, but I AM… grateful (indeed) for all of these wonderful and sometimes mind-bending experiences.

And as I continue to grow with wisdom, Consciousness and heart-felt intention, I AM more open now to the potential possibilities of connecting to even more of these wonderful souls – whom I feel to be the very exact people milled and manufactured from similar-styled cloth – My Brothers and Sisters of the same Soulful Tribe of Masters (yes – Masters) within their own rite of evolution in Consciousness. Yes, my brothers and Sisters of the Great Global Awakening!

In many ways, I feel like Forest Gump. Yeah, you know how it was within that classic blockbuster movie when Forest would go through these inspiringly legendary times of his life, such as unawaringly meeting President Kennedy from amongst all the other epic events featured within the movie, but yet Forest continued to portray his adorable sense of naivety – not knowing of each interaction’s historic significance, LoL!!!

Ever since I started podcasting (back in 2014) in motioning through the regular-routined-dealings of interviewing Big-Time Authors, Celebrities, Motivational Speakers, Financial Guru’s, Archeologists and (of course) the many Researchers and controversial Theorists whom have been considered to be some of the most well-renown elite within the World of Spirituality, like Forest Gump, I was extremely naive in similarity not realizing the heightened magnitude of such interactions with such rising stars of the Awakening Global Movement.

The gift of gab, especially in podcast radio, was something that always intrigued me but never did I think that I ultimately had the talent within me to actually execute this potential dream of becoming a broadcaster (myself), whilst attempting to mimic the footsteps of well-esteemed radio personalities like the late-and-great Mr. Art Bell (himself). For several years during my college years, I burned the midnight oil lulling thousands of times to study for these dreaded exams. And (seriously) I couldn’t have done it successfully without listening to Art Bell’s Coast to Coast AM, (of course) a well-received old school alternative radio talk show which broadcasted between Midnight and 5:00 AM on terrestrial AM RADIO WTAM 1100. Although, it was most certainly my dream to meet this wonderful man, let alone to interview Art Bell in the flesh, it never came to being and it will never ever come to manifest as Art had unexpectedly passed away in 2018. He was my Guru. He filled my world with Wonder. But within my heart, the only way to honour this man’s life (within my own eyes) was to become part of the literal passing-of-the-baton… from Elite Throw-Back Radio Personality to Beginner-Online-Podcaster (Joel Ayala Ayapana) – And this was exactly what I did! It was absolutely frightening for me! It was new but I was enthusiastically READY! Again… this was Undiscovered Country!

Truly, within the moment of actually orchestrating these interviews (during the actual act within the interview process itself) more times than not, I often became entangled and ever-so-deeply-drawn into such conversations. For a time, I repeatedly neglected the fact that I was talking to some of the most well-renown and well-respected within this field of Self-Healing… Quantum Theory… and other Alternative Modalities in Integrative Medicine. And I believe the reason for this was mainly based upon the fact that I wasn’t too familiar with the very people I was interviewing in the beginning phases of my podcasting career. Yes, this world of podcasting was very new to me as was the World of Spirituality. And because I wasn’t too familiar with the very background of these people, I didn’t see them as stars, per say, but rather I saw them within my own eyes as people instead – people whom were just as enthusiastic as I was.

Truly, in looking back, it still does continue to blow me away. So, in reflecting back to how it all started, one does have to take the time to declare to the Universe how grateful and appreciative they are, thus the main reason why I AM writing this post today within this very moment. Indeed, I AM very grateful and blessed for these wonderful conversations. And (yes) along the way it was such an honour to being given the opportunity to meet and speak to these very wonderful people of well-renown stature, on a very personable level.

Little did I know that as I journeyed from one stage within the spiritual process to the next, that I was literally picking up the breadcrumbs which led me synchronistically back home to the very reason why I AM podcasting within this niche of Spirituality today.
.
The beginnings of my own so-called personalized Awakenings began during the magical and heart-felt year of the 11’s – Yup, 2011 was the year. It was on the eve of my Birthday on 1/11/11 during the 2011 Yoga Journal Conference in San Francisco was when I met for the very first time… Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa – A Legend herself within the World of Transcendental Meditation and Kundalini Yoga! And just a week prior to meeting her and her partner was when I bought a book called KUNDALINI RISING: EXPLORING THE ENERGY OF AWAKENING. Consciously, I did not know of the significance of this book, in owning such a treasure. But later did I realize during that full weekend in San Francisco that after I met Gurmukh was when I was Conscious to know that one of the co-authors of this literary gem was indeed the wonderful Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa (herself). Now how about that!!!

Then, on 11/11/11 was when I met in Sedona (Arizona) another wonderful leader within the ranks of the Awakening Movement – Solara An-Ra! Solara An-Ra, author of ‘Pleiadian Emissary to Gaia’, is a South African-born channel who works primarily with the Star Councils of Light, a collective of Star Beings who are assisting us through the ascension process that we are experiencing on Earth between 2011 and 2035. One of Solara’s greatest gifts to the world is the free guided meditations she provides on her website and YouTube. These are more than meditations – they teach vital skills to beginners and the experienced alike, such as a felt experience of your chakras, how to ground yourself, reclaim your power, connect with your Higher Self and move into a heart-centred way of being.

Solara travels the globe, taking groups to activate the Light Grids of our planet at chosen sacred sites. She also leads ceremonies for the Equinoxes and Solstices wherever she may be in the world, bringing back the ways of the ancestors in celebrating our connection with our Sun, our Earth and each other as ‘the Light Tribe of Gaia.’

I was there for the 11.11.11 Return of the Wisdom Ways Conference and BOY was it a conference that I will never ever forget, one that was held within the RED ROCK of Northern Arizona. Once more, I was unaware of the heightened caliber of very people that I was meeting along the way within this… Journey-of-all-Journeys. I spent some time with Solara through her guided group meditations which were orchestrated throughout the many well-known and enchanted vortexes within that magical place of Sedona, Arizona. And of course, this was the very beginning of my own sense of Awakening. Again, it was all so very NEW to me, but it was REAL – more real than any history class could ever tell me in how things are… or have been!

From this same conference, I was blessed by another wonderful Soul, Anrita Melchizedek, for whom had further assisted me with opening my Third Eye to the Blossoming of my own awakening heart. And this was done through her own DNA-opening meditations of Mystical Enlightenment which further enhanced my intuitive nature – My Continued Enlightenment to Self.

The following year, I met world renown Marathon Runner Bill Rogers. He was one of the sparks who helped me to acknowledge the Power I subconsciously possessed in helping me to actually accomplish and complete my very first Full Marathon Run… EVER!!!

Two years later, I was then given the opportunity to meet one of my most favorite of Authors to boot. And (yes) he was Mr. Gregg Braden himself. I remember when once I had returned back from my Sedona Trip in November 2011, the one individual who just occupied my space in Consciousness was Gregg Braden. As I further dove into the deepening Rabbit Hole of Spirituality and Awakening, Gregg Braden was there in every corner of that ride to meet me and greet me along this road to Undiscovered Country. Whether it was Youtube or Google, Gregg was there every moment of the way.

Then, in 2013 was when I finally possessed the opportunity to meet this wonderful man myself. It was at another highly-anticipated conference held this time in Lakeland Community College, another local destination literally within my backyard.
.
After one of his most well-versed of 2-hour performances on stage at that very college, I met Gregg for the very first time. And wow!!! – I just couldn’t believe it!!! I truly felt that if I should ever past away (for any particular reason) on that very day… that (indeed) I would have lived my life at its PEAK… by merely just meeting Gregg in person. Yes, it meant that much to me!

Ha, it doesn’t even end there…
.
In 2014, for some odd reason, a thought entered my mind. And this thought never left me alone until I finally conceded and said, “WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME!”
.
The thought further continued to chatter, not so much in words, but with images. Then, the thought that further drew a more accurate picture, said to me, “You are going to start podcasting.”

PODCASTING? SERIOUSLY?

.
Well, fast forwarding a few months later, I was given the opportunity to interview one of my most favorite of female actresses – Dee Wallace (herself). Now, I severely had a huge childhood crush with Dee. Miss Wallace starred in such wonderful horror flick thrillers such as The Howling, Cujo and Steven Spielberg’s 1980’s blockbuster hit – E.T.

Talk about Unbelievable!!! To converse on my podcast with my childhood crush and a Great Horror-Flick-Movie Actress at that was truly an inspiring experience for me. One in which I will never forget! ‘Till this very day… I am still just flabbergasted with Disbelief! I interviewed the famous Miss See Wallace – My Childhood Crush!!!

And (oh) let’s not forget the time when I picked up another book at Barnes ‘N’ Noble when I was endearingly blessed and called by another intriguing book named DO YOU QUANTUM THINK: New Thinking That Will Rock Your World, written by Dianne Collins. Now, I was so inspired and deeply enamored by this READ that I told myself subconsciously that I have to speak with this woman. I really have to interview Dianne for my show, Quantum Mindfulness Radio. And wouldn’t you know that within a few weeks, somehow, I came across her contact information from her publicist, then BOOM, I was once more given the opportunity to interview one of my most favored of Authors – Miss Dianne Collins (herself). Again, to look back, this interview was LEGENDARY!!! – TO ME AT LEAST!!! – IT WAS EPIC!!!

Another Author who I also deeply respected and whose work has inspired me to further research for myself the Mysteries behind ‘The Great Serpent Mound’ of Adams County (OH) was Mr. Douglas Ross Hamilton. Ross, to me, was someone whom was so very down-to-earth and approachable. Something drew me to The Serpent Mound and (believe it or not) that very something came in the form of THREE DREAMS.
.
Back then, in 2012, (once more) I was never exposed to the World of Ancient Archeology at the greatened depths that I am today, especially in book research. But after my first trip there to Mound which took in excess of over 4-hours to get to this ancient earth works effigy site, I began to research the mystery and awe of this magnificent megalithic formation – one within its own rite in earthen material. And the one prominent name which ruled almost every Google Search on this topic was Douglas Ross Hamilton (himself) – Such a wonderful soul and such an endearing friend. Long-Story-Short… Ross endorsed the very pages of my first written work, a memoir entitled The Book of Positive Light: Remembrance of the Heart. This memoir was a personal project that was (once more) inspired by whatever lain hidden within the Ethers.

It is a channeled work. This is the only way that I can describe it. I resisted the thought of such a book for the longest, but when I finally surrendered to it, the book finally became to be: A Reality! Truly, it possesses a LIFE of its own! And (yes) it possesses Serpent Energy, from what I had been told by several intuitives. Yeah, look it up. Google it! It’s not what you think, it’s even more!!!
.
Regardless, the honour and the greatened privelage to having the GREAT AUTHOR and LEGEND… Douglas Ross Hamilton to read and write an endorsement for my book is deeply astounding and truly UNBELIEVABLE… to say the least! – Very much so: Another Epic Moment within My Life!!! Till this very day when I look back, I often ask myself, ‘HOW THE HELL DID ALL OF THIS HAPPEN?’ – Truly I can say that I was FOREST GUMP 2.0.

This photograph was taken by an Army Veteran who was also there at the Great Serpent Mound of Adams County, Ohio to meet and greet Mr. Graham Hancock during that weekend in celebration of the Summer Solstice 2017. It was a candid shot for sure for I never knew he took that shot until he emailed it to me. But that image spoke MILLIONS! For many years, alongside Douglass Ross Hamilton’s work, I read much of Graham’s written work. I also took the time to review many of his YouTube videos which took me indeed to even more heightened levels of intrigue.

So, in closing, I AM… deeply honoured and grateful for this wonderful LIFE that was blessed upon to me. Sometimes, individually we have to reflect back in life. And I have found that no matter what people say or think about me, I know who I AM…

I know where I have been and I will never forget all… the wonderful souls whom have blessed me along this beautiful Journey to Self-Rediscovery.
